Time for an aperitif!
Aix is a very pleasant, though very touristy, city. But this is where they send you if you don't behave.

So we are taking a 60k ride around Mont Sainte-Victoire. Pretty, but hot day, but it is a day ride, so we don't have much stuff with us, which is nice!
One of the things this ride makes clear is that the twisted landscapes (and trees) you see in Cezanne are what he saw around him.
